Kirrin Tubo

Kirrin Tubo is a Freelance Theatre Artist from the Hudson Valley of NY. Immersed in a village of artists - painters, actors, poets and musicians, she spent much of her early life peeking out, watching from behind stage curtains and from underneath cabaret tables. From this foundation she continues to invest in a life prioritizing the joy of creating art.

 

Currently based in NYC, she has adapted her skills to alternate between the roles of an actor and stage manager, among others. She is intrigued by works that explore the metaphysical, the surreal, and ritual practices; as well as stories that inspect the possibilities of our collective future, that expand the representation of black experiences and stories that guide audiences to foster and hold community at the forefront. This is the truth-seeking form that guides her from project to project, collaborations, and defines her developing artistry.
